Spring Break: The Beginning

Enjoyed some yogurt with blackberries for lunch...

I ran out of clay on Saturday. They were out of "my clay" at the store. So, I broke into the paper clay supply that I bought to make school garden signs. Turns out, I really like the paper clay. It doesn't take as much detail, but it literally fuses together magically. The paper content knits separate pieces together really well. I rolled out the bottom of the bust, which I'll attach tomorrow morning. Hoping to shape it to be concave, so that the bottom won't crack. I need to make a major clay run tomorrow!

Got back to work on this bottomless bust...
