The Peacock Room of James McNeill Whistler

This room might be the best kept secret in Washington D.C. It's located in the Freer Gallery, and it's called The Peacock Room. The walls are filled with beautiful vessels in colors that range from cobalt to light green. All of the details are gilt, including the sectioned ceiling. I've never been in a more peaceful, lovely room.
