Mayor of Crazytown

Students can feel the lanolin in the unwashed wool...

Although my personal life is quite crazy and busy right now, school is going well. I love that my school allows kids to experience things by doing. The focus is on the whole child and on experiential learning. It seems like a good fit for me, as a teacher. When I get home, there's a tornado of "to dos" on my list, trying to get ready for Open Studios. But, strangely, school seems calm...

Carding the washed wool...

Joel starts to weave a green pouch...

Alina has picked a colorful yarn...

Transitioning into pink...

Later in the day, the kids learn to play some chords...

These ukuleles sound great...
