Flu Weekend

An undercoating of turquoise underglaze...

I was hoping to stay in bed, and rest up this weekend. Unfortunately, the contractor and crew that are renovating the house next door, came back on Saturday morning. The noise from the hammering, drilling, and sawing sounded like it was actually in my bedroom, because our houses are very close together. None of the work crew seemed to know about the invention of ear buds, or headphones. So, it was really impossible to rest. As a result, I worked on some plates. And, I unloaded a kiln load of bisque fired Christmas presents, and gallery pieces. I can't wait for Christmas vacation, and the two weeks of unbridled creativity!

Coatings of Cancun Blue and Key Lime are next...
Freehand white polka dots and then some sanding...
Repair shop for minor cold weather related issues...
Surprised that there wasn't more damage during drying...
