Lagoon Amusement Park

Sean ponders dental decay...

Three of my nephews accompanied me to Lagoon Amusement Park. We were celebrating Sean's 25th birthday. As a child, our family visited this park each summer. We would bring a picnic, play miniature golf, and then make our way through the rides. Lagoon is an independently owned theme park, and many things have changed since my childhood. But, the spirit of the park is the same. My favorite part of this particular visit, was the ride on the old wooden roller coaster. It was just as scary as it was 40 years ago.

How I remember the enormous pool...

The luncheon pavilion hasn't changed a bit...

What goes best with giant corn dogs?
